| Fraser River Pile & Dredge (GP) Inc. (‘FRPD”) head-office is located in New Westminster, British Columbia, a suburb of Vancouver. FRPD is the largest and leading provider of marine construction and dredging services on Canada’s west coast and is also very actively involved in both land foundation and marine environmental remediation work. The Company operates mainly in British Columbia and the Northwest Territories and traces its origins back to 1911. | Construction Division: | The center of excellence for the Construction Division is marine related construction but the Division has also developed both its equipment portfolio and personnel capabilities to become very successful in the land foundation business. More recently the Construction Division has developed and applied a number of innovative solutions to the marine “dig and transport” activities associated with the environmental remediation of industrial land and foreshore. |
| Dredging Division: | FRPD’s Dredging Division uses very specialized equipment to help the port authority (Vancouver Fraser Port Authority) to manage and maintain the shipping routes of the lower Fraser River. The volume of sand dredged from the river each year is significant to the extent that it would fill Vancouver’s General Motors stadium. In addition to dredging of the Fraser River, FRPD’s Dredging Division also applies its equipment and knowledge to successfully complete highly specialized dredging projects in Canada’s North. As a result of nearly 100 years of operations, exceptional experience, and an exemplary track record, the FRPD name is well recognized and strongly associated with superior quality marine construction and dredging in Western Canada. |
