Fraser River Pile & Dredge (GP) Inc. (FRPD) is the largest and leading provider of marine construction and dredging services across Canada and is also actively involved in both land foundation and marine environmental remediation work. The Company operates mainly in British Columbia and the Northwest Territories and celebrated its 100th anniversary in 2011. FRPD’s business operations can be categorized into two distinct divisions, Construction and Dredging.
Construction Division
The center of excellence for the Construction Division is marine-focused but the Division has also developed both its equipment portfolio and personnel capabilities to become very successful in the land foundation business.
Dredging Division
FRPD’s Dredging Division uses specialized equipment to help the Vancouver Fraser Port Authority to manage and maintain the shipping routes of the lower Fraser River. In addition to dredging of the Fraser River, FRPD’s Dredging Division also applies its equipment and knowledge to successfully complete highly specialized dredging projects in Canada’s North. The FRPD name is well recognized and strongly associated with superior quality marine construction and dredging in Western Canada.
